Your start-up – Your future

The competition „Your start-up – Your future” is a flagship and well-recognized initiative in the north-eastern Poland of the Park offering support to young start-ups. The competition is addressed to all people who have an idea for an innovative business and who have modest resources to run it. Since 2014, 4 companies have been promoted through the Competition, and several dozens of innovative ideas have come to light. Participation in the competition is not just a chance for the main prize. It is also an opportunity to go with your idea to a wide range of mentors and business people who often, regardless of the results of the Competition, support participants with their advice and knowledge.

Competition „Your start-up – Your future” 2018

The winner of the 5th jubilee edition was the Wingdom project – educational homes for children, created by Agata Kamińska and Anna Kłosowska. The project assumes the production of modular multi-purpose houses for children with a Home Activity Program dedicated to them. The winning project received the main prize of PLN 30,000 funded by the Ełk Science and Technology Park, PLN 10,000 from the Competition’s sponsor – the company Koma Sp. z o.o., as well as a double voucher for free post-graduate studies at the University of Economy in Bydgoszcz, Branch in Ełk and training with a mentor from the Kogito Ventures Fund.

12 projects applied for the competition, of which 10 took part in the Final Gala. The competition already had a jubilee 5th edition and 48 projects have so far participated in it. Of the 4 winners of previous editions, 3 works on. Another – the fifth – is today’s laureate of the Wingdom project.
